Elif is a fourth-year doctoral student. She holds a B.A degree in psychological counseling from Bosphorus University, Turkey and an M.B.A. degree from Yeditepe University. She is currently working with Dr. LaRose, and her research focuses on media user behavior in online environments. She is teaching Introduction to Media and Communication Technologies online. She has been assisting and teaching variety of undergraduate courses including but not limited to The Information Society, Introduction to Media and Communication Technology, Digital Games and Society and Media Research.
Research Interests
Media user behavior, media selection processes,and the uses of online socio-technical systems for collaboration.
