Hello! My name is Amanda Krueger. I hold a Master of Education degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My research focuses on higher education finance, specializing in areas of university advancement.

My professional background includes editing, writing copy, and transcription for Journal of Education Finance, event coordination for University YMCA, youth programming for the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center, staff development education and recruitment for Illini Union, and acquisitions for Urbana Free Library.

I also hold a Bachelor of Art degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Music. I pursued scholarship in musicology, international arts, and harp performance. I am passionate about the fine arts and global education, which I believe is reflected in my education and research contributions.

My service experience includes fundraising, service-learning, and arts administration. I have had the privilege of working for several outstanding non-profit organizations and University affiliated institutions including Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, Krannert Art Museum, and the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center, among others.

I am a recent transplant to East Lansing, Michigan. I hold an appointment as an Outreach Specialist with Michigan State University's College of Communication Arts and Sciences, Department of Telecommunications, Information Studies, and Media. My focus will be to grow the Department's portfolio of pre-college programs. Thank you for your interest!
