We will focus primarily, but not exclusively, on the impact of mobile phones, PCs, and the Internet on economic growth, education, the environment, health care, and the empowerment of women. By the end of the semester, students will have a good understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of ICTs as tool for positive social change.
