Quello faculty Johannes Bauer and Jonathan Obar have joined the Wikimedia Foundation’s Public Policy Initiative and are incorporating it into classes. The Initiative hopes to recruit experts and students in an effort to improve and expand upon Wikipedia’s content.

This spring, Johannes is teaching TC850: Telecommunication Policy Analysis, which deals with government and public initiatives and laws, while Jonathan is teaching TC210: Media and Communication Policy, which focuses on telecommunication regulation.  Both faculty members will incorporate Wikipedia assignments into their classes and utilize its features for assignment timelines.
