3D Graphics & Animation Camp

The 3D Graphics & Animation Camp teaches students the basics of creating computer-generated imagery (CGI) for the purpose of Film, TV, or video games. Throughout the week, students are engaged with modeling three-dimensional objects, texturing the objects, and then animating them. Students learn the process, tasks, and roles involved in 3D Graphics & Animation, from a film and video game perspective, while building their very own 3D scenes and animations. Campers will be introduced to Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop, and Blender industry software.

There is no pre-requisite for this camp, but students who took either Digital Cinema Camp or Video Game Design Camp in week 1 are highly encouraged to enroll in this camp as well. By doing so, students will build on and optimize their education and technique during these intensive two one-week programs.

There are two options for this camp: (1) an overnight/residential option in a dormitory on campus and (2) a day-camp only option.
